Romantik Hotel Schloss Hohenstein - Ahorn (Bavaria)

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. The location in the forest provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From the warm welcome drink upon arrival to the helpful assistance with tours and tickets, every detail was taken care of. The room amenities were luxurious, with a heating system to keep us cozy, a mini-bar stocked with a selection of refreshments, and a comfortable sitting area to unwind. The terrace and garden furniture provided a lovely spot to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The free toiletries, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV added a touch of convenience to our stay. The parquet floors added a touch of elegance to the room, while the dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were perfect for enjoying delicious meals and drinks. The picnic area and tables were a charming addition, allowing us to have a delightful outdoor meal. The staff upon check-out was friendly and efficient, making our departure seamless.

The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. The location was in a beautiful, remote area with stunning scenery. One of the best aspects was the large, well-kept rooms that provided a comfortable and cozy stay.

It was difficult to find the hotel at night with no clear signs to guide us and we had to look around for it. The stairs to some of the rooms were too steep and required some effort to reach them.

We stayed in a unique accommodation, a beautiful old castle that has been turned into a hotel. the location is gorgeous, nestled in a wooden hill with a peaceful and serene surrounding. the room was tastefully decorated with high-class amenities and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was deliciously prepared to our liking. the staff provided excellent service, and the parking was perfect.

The service was not up to our expectations, as the staff did not help us with our lost belongings.

Fine castle with rich history, remote location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room, excellent dinner and breakfast, beautiful garden.

We loved staying in this historical hotel, which has been modernized without losing its charm. The staff was wonderful and helpful, making our stay very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinner in the hotel. the location of the hotel was great for exploring the nearby historical sites and enjoying nature walks.

The atmosphere was captivating, making me feel like royalty in an earthly kingdom. Exploring the charming castle grounds and enjoying the lovely view from my warm suite was a good experience. I had an enjoyable stay at this amazing hotel.

The castle vibe was fantastic and the rooms were beautifully furnished. the breakfast was amazing , plenty of coffee, fresh omelettes, sausages, jams. the location was great , we had easy access to the city and the grounds of the castle were idyllic and peaceful.

It was stressful as we needed to leave in the middle of the night and had no one to turn to.
